About The Game

Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies is a flight simulation game developed by Namco and released for the PlayStation 2 in 2001. Players take on the role of an ace pilot in the fictional nation of Usea, tasked with defending their homeland from a surprise attack by an unknown enemy. The game features realistic flight physics and a wide range of aircraft to choose from, as well as a variety of missions that require players to complete objectives such as destroying enemy targets or rescuing friendly forces. The story follows the player’s character, Mobius 1, as he leads his squadron through the war-torn skies of Usea. After discovering that their homeland is under attack by an unknown enemy known as “The Belkan Empire”, Mobius 1 and his squadron must fight to protect their homeland and uncover the truth behind this mysterious force. Along the way they will face off against some of the most powerful military forces in the world, including fighter jets, bombers, helicopters, and even experimental weapons. Players will have access to a wide range of aircraft to choose from including fighters, bombers, helicopters and more. Each aircraft has its own unique stats such as speed, maneuverability and armament which can be upgraded using money earned from completing missions. Additionally players can also customize their aircraft with paint schemes and decals to give it a unique look. Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies offers intense aerial combat with realistic flight physics and challenging missions that require players to use strategy and skill in order to succeed.
