About The Game

Barbie as the Island Princess is an adventure game created by Activision for the Nintendo Wii and DS. Players take on the role of Barbie as she embarks on a journey to find her true identity and reunite with her family. Along the way, she meets a variety of characters, including a talking parrot, a friendly dolphin, and an elephant with magical powers. The game features a variety of mini-games that involve solving puzzles, collecting items, and playing musical instruments. Players also have the option to customize their own Barbie character with different clothing and accessories. The story begins when Barbie is found washed up on the shore of an island by two animals, Tika and Riku. After being nursed back to health by them, she discovers that she is actually Princess Rosella from the kingdom of Meribella. She then sets out on a quest to find her family and reunite them with her newfound friends. Along the way, she must solve puzzles in order to progress through each level. These puzzles involve finding hidden objects or completing tasks such as playing music or helping animals in need. In addition to its main story mode, Barbie as The Island Princess also features several mini-games which can be played separately or combined into one larger game session. These mini-games include musical instrument challenges such as playing guitar or drums; animal care tasks such as feeding animals; and puzzle games such as matching items or finding hidden objects in pictures. Players can also customize their own Barbie character with different clothing and accessories from the in-game store.
