About The Game

Bust A Groove 2 is a rhythm-based game developed by Metro Graphics and published by Enix for the PlayStation in 1999. The game is a sequel to the original Bust A Groove, and features an expanded cast of characters, new dance moves, and improved graphics. Players take control of one of nine characters and battle it out on the dance floor in a series of one-on-one dance battles. Each character has their own unique style of dancing, as well as special moves that can be used to gain an advantage over their opponents. The game also features a variety of music genres, ranging from hip-hop to techno to jazz. In Bust A Groove 2, players must use their character’s special moves and dance steps to defeat their opponents in a series of dance battles. The battles are divided into two rounds; the first round is a regular battle where players must match their opponent’s steps and move combinations in order to win. The second round is a “Groove Battle” where players must create their own unique combination of steps and moves in order to win. At the end of each battle, the player with the most points wins. The game also features several different modes such as “Dance Battle” where players can compete against each other or against computer-controlled opponents; “Groove Battle” which allows players to create their own custom dances; “Dance Lesson” which teaches players how to perform various dance moves; and “Free Play”.
