About The Game

Dino Crisis is an action-adventure survival horror video game developed and published by Capcom. It was released for the PlayStation in 1999 and later ported to the Dreamcast in 2000. The game follows a special forces team sent to a secret research facility on an island to investigate the disappearance of its personnel. Upon arriving, they discover that the facility has been overrun by dinosaurs, which were created as a result of time travel experiments gone wrong. Players take control of Regina, a member of the S.O.R.T (Special Operations & Rescue Team) sent to investigate the disappearance of Dr. Edward Kirk, the creator of a time machine known as “Third Energy”. As Regina explores the island, she discovers that it has been overrun by dinosaurs created from Third Energy experiments gone wrong. She also learns that Dr. Kirk is still alive and is using his time machine to travel back in time in order to prevent his experiments from being discovered by the government. The gameplay consists of exploring various areas while avoiding or fighting off dinosaurs, solving puzzles, and gathering items such as keys and documents that help progress through the game’s story. Players can use weapons such as handguns, shotguns, and grenades to fight off enemies or use stealth tactics to avoid them altogether. The game also features several boss battles against powerful dinosaurs which require quick reflexes and strategy in order to defeat them. Overall, Dino Crisis offers an exciting blend of action-adventure survival horror gameplay with puzzles and intense boss battles against powerful dinosaurs. Players must use their wits and skills in order to survive.
