About The Game

Killzone 3 is a first-person shooter video game developed by Guerrilla Games and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 3. The game is the fourth installment in the Killzone series and the sequel to Killzone 2. The game takes place on the planet Helghan, where a civil war has broken out between the Helghast forces and the Interplanetary Strategic Alliance (ISA). Players take control of ISA forces as they attempt to put an end to the conflict. The game features a single-player campaign, as well as online multiplayer modes. In Killzone 3, players are able to use a variety of weapons and vehicles to fight their way through Helghan’s hostile environment. The game also features an improved cover system, allowing players to take cover behind objects in order to avoid enemy fire. Additionally, players can use jetpacks and other equipment in order to traverse difficult terrain or reach otherwise inaccessible areas. The single-player campaign follows ISA forces as they attempt to overthrow Helghast forces on their home planet. Players will battle their way through various environments, including jungles, deserts, and cities, while taking on enemies such as giant robots and powerful mechs. Along the way, players will be able to make use of various weapons and vehicles in order to complete objectives. Killzone 3 also features an extensive online multiplayer mode that allows up to 32 players at once. Players can join together in squads or play against each other in deathmatch or objective-based modes.
