About The Game

Kingdom Hearts is an action role-playing game series developed and published by Square Enix. The series is a collaboration between Square Enix and Disney Interactive Studios and incorporates characters from Disney’s animated features and Final Fantasy characters created by Square Enix. It follows the journey of Sora, a young boy who is chosen by a mysterious force to protect the universe from evil forces. The game begins with Sora, a 14-year-old boy living on Destiny Islands, being chosen by a mysterious force to protect the universe from darkness. He is joined by Donald Duck and Goofy, two Disney characters sent to help him on his quest. Together they travel across various worlds based on Disney films such as Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Tarzan, Hercules, Alice in Wonderland, and many more. Along the way they meet up with other characters from both Disney films and Final Fantasy games who aid them in their mission. Throughout their journey they battle Heartless monsters that are trying to take over the universe as well as other villains such as Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty and Pete from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. As they progress through their quest they gain new abilities that help them fight against these enemies. They also collect items called “Keyblades” which are used to unlock new worlds and progress further in the game. The main goal of Kingdom Hearts is for Sora to restore balance to the universe by defeating all of the villains that threaten it. Along the way he must also face his own inner demons while learning important lessons about friendship and courage.
