About The Game

ObsCure is a survival horror video game developed by Hydravision Entertainment and published by DreamCatcher Interactive in 2004. It follows the story of a group of high school students who must investigate the mysterious disappearance of their friends. The game is set in Leafmore High, an abandoned school located in the fictional town of Fallcreek. The game follows a group of five teenagers, Shannon Matthews, Kenny Matthews, Stan Jones, Ashley Thompson and Josh Carter, as they investigate the mysterious disappearances of their fellow students at Leafmore High. As they explore the school grounds they discover that something sinister is happening and that their friends may be in danger. The group soon discovers that the school has been taken over by monsters known as “the Obscure” which are mutated creatures created from experiments conducted at the school. The group must battle these creatures as well as solve puzzles and uncover clues to save their friends and escape from Leafmore High alive. Throughout the game players must manage resources such as health packs and ammunition while also exploring various locations within Leafmore High to uncover clues about what has happened to their friends. Players can also use various weapons such as firearms or melee weapons to battle against enemies. The game also features cooperative gameplay where up to four players can join forces to battle against enemies or solve puzzles together. ObsCure is an intense survival horror experience with unique gameplay elements such as cooperative play and resource management that make it stand out from other horror games.
