About The Game

Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition is an action-packed horror game that takes place in the fictional African country of Kijuju. Players take on the role of Chris Redfield, a former member of the elite special forces unit known as S.T.A.R.S., who is sent to investigate a series of strange occurrences in the area. Along with his partner Sheva Alomar, Chris must battle against hordes of infected creatures and uncover the truth behind the mysterious virus that has been unleashed upon Kijuju. The Gold Edition includes all of the content from the original game, plus two additional downloadable content packs: Desperate Escape and Lost in Nightmares. Desperate Escape sees Chris and Sheva teaming up with Jill Valentine to escape from a research facility overrun by monsters, while Lost in Nightmares takes players back to an eerie mansion where they must solve puzzles and battle their way through hordes of enemies in order to uncover the secrets hidden within its walls. In addition to these two story-driven campaigns, Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition also features several new gameplay modes such as Mercenaries Reunion and Versus Mode, which allow up to four players to compete against each other online or on split-screen. The game also includes a variety of weapons and items for players to collect, as well as an upgrade system that allows them to customize their characters with new abilities and skills.
