About The Game

Resident Evil: Code – Veronica X is a survival horror game developed and published by Capcom. It is the fourth installment in the Resident Evil series, and was released for the Dreamcast in 2000. The game follows Claire Redfield and her brother Chris as they search for each other in a zombie-infested facility on an isolated island. The game features a third-person perspective, with players controlling either Claire or Chris as they explore the environment and battle enemies. Players must solve puzzles to progress through the story, while also managing their inventory of weapons and items. The game introduces several new elements to the series, such as a dual-wielding system that allows players to equip two weapons at once, and an improved enemy AI that makes them more aggressive. The story of Code – Veronica X focuses on Claire Redfield’s search for her missing brother Chris. She discovers that he has been taken to an isolated island by Umbrella Corporation, where he is being held captive in an underground facility known as Rockfort Island. With the help of Steve Burnside, a fellow prisoner, she must battle her way through hordes of zombies and mutated creatures in order to save him. Along the way she must also uncover the secrets behind Umbrella’s sinister plans for world domination. Code – Veronica X features improved graphics over its predecessors, with detailed environments and character models that bring the horror atmosphere to life. It also features an expanded soundtrack composed by Shusaku Uchiyama which adds tension to intense moments throughout the game.
