About The Game

Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 FES is a role-playing game developed by Atlus for the PlayStation 2. It is the fourth installment in the Shin Megami Tensei: Persona series, which is part of the larger Megami Tensei franchise. The game follows a group of high school students, the protagonist and his friends, who carry out supernatural activities during the “Dark Hour,” a hidden time period between one day and the next. During this time, they use their Personas, physical manifestations of their inner psyche, to fight monsters known as Shadows. The game takes place in a fictional Japanese city called Iwatodai City. The main character is a transfer student at Gekkoukan High School who joins the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad (SEES). SEES is a secret organization dedicated to investigating and destroying Shadows that appear during the Dark Hour. As they explore Tartarus, a mysterious tower that appears during the Dark Hour and serves as a gateway to alternate dimensions, they discover that their Personas are connected to an ancient being known as Nyx. In order to prevent Nyx from destroying humanity, SEES must find out why it has appeared and how it can be stopped. Persona 3 FES includes an enhanced version of Persona 3 with additional content such as new Personas and story elements, as well as an epilogue titled “The Answer” which follows up on events from Persona 3’s original story line.
