About The Game

Sonic Mega Collection Plus is a compilation of classic Sonic games for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and PC. It includes seven classic Sonic games from the Sega Genesis era, as well as a few extras. The games included are Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic 3D Blast, Sonic & Knuckles, Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine, Flicky, and Ristar. Additionally, there are unlockable bonus features such as concept art and other extras. The main draw of this collection is the classic Sonic games that it includes. All seven titles feature their original graphics and soundtracks with some minor improvements to make them look better on modern systems. The controls are also faithful to their original versions so fans of the series will feel right at home playing them again. There are also some new features added to each game such as save states which allow players to save their progress at any time and continue from where they left off later on. In addition to the classic titles included in this collection, there are also some extras that can be unlocked by completing certain tasks or finding hidden items in each game. These include concept art galleries featuring artwork from various points in the series’ history as well as sound test modes which allow players to listen to all of the music featured in each game. There is also a mini-game called Chao Adventure which allows players to raise virtual pets called Chao and take care of them by feeding them and playing with them.
