About The Game

SSX Tricky is a snowboarding video game developed by EA Canada and published by Electronic Arts in 2001. It is the second installment in the SSX series and is considered to be one of the most influential snowboarding games of all time. The game features a variety of characters, courses, and tricks that players can use to perform stunts and compete against each other. The game takes place in a fictional mountain range known as the “SSX Mountain” which consists of nine different courses. Each course has its own unique set of challenges, obstacles, and tricks that players must master in order to progress through the game. Players can choose from a variety of characters such as Mac Fraser, Kaori Nishidake, Elise Riggs, Psymon Stark, Zoe Payne, Moby Jones and more. Each character has their own unique abilities which can be used to perform stunts or complete objectives. The main objective of the game is to complete each course with the highest score possible. Players are able to earn points by performing tricks such as spins, flips, grabs and grinds while racing down the slopes. Points are also earned for completing objectives such as collecting coins or reaching certain checkpoints within a certain time limit. As players progress through the game they will unlock new characters, courses and tricks which will allow them to take on more difficult challenges. In addition to single-player mode SSX Tricky also features an online multiplayer mode where up to four players can compete against each other in races or trick competitions.
