About The Game

Tales of Xillia is a role-playing game developed by Namco Tales Studio and published by Namco Bandai Games. It was released in Japan in 2011 and in North America and Europe in 2013. The game takes place in the world of Rieze Maxia, where humans and spirits live together in harmony. Players take on the role of either Jude Mathis, a medical student, or Milla Maxwell, a mysterious spirit who has lost her memories. Together they must save Rieze Maxia from destruction by an ancient evil force known as the Exodus. The gameplay of Tales of Xillia is similar to other entries in the Tales series, with players exploring various locations, engaging in battles against monsters and other enemies, and completing quests to progress through the story. Battles are fought using a real-time combat system where players can chain together attacks to create powerful combos. Players can also use special skills called Artes to defeat their foes. The game also features a unique linking system which allows two characters to join forces during battle for more powerful attacks and special abilities. In addition to its main story mode, Tales of Xillia also features various side quests which can be completed for rewards such as items or money. Players can also customize their characters with various weapons and armor pieces found throughout the game world or crafted using materials gathered during exploration. There is also an online multiplayer mode which allows up to four players to team up for co-operative play or compete against each other in various challenges.
