About The Game
Tekken 4 is a fighting game developed and published by Namco for the PlayStation 2 in 2002. It is the fourth installment in the Tekken series, and was the first game to be released on a PlayStation console. The game features a total of twenty-three playable characters, including returning veterans such as Jin Kazama, Heihachi Mishima, Paul Phoenix, and Law. It also introduces two new characters: Steve Fox and Craig Marduk. The game’s main story revolves around Heihachi Mishima’s attempt to take control of the Mishima Zaibatsu from his son, Jin Kazama. To do this, Heihachi holds a tournament known as The King of Iron Fist Tournament 4. Players take control of one of the characters and fight their way through several opponents until they reach Heihachi himself at the end. Gameplay wise, Tekken 4 features several changes from its predecessors. These include improved graphics and animations, as well as an improved fighting system that allows for more strategic play. The game also introduces a new “wall” system which allows players to fight near walls or other obstacles in order to gain an advantage over their opponent. Additionally, it features an all-new “Rage” system which grants players increased power when their health is low. Overall, Tekken 4 is an exciting and challenging fighting game that offers plenty of depth for experienced players while still being accessible enough for newcomers to enjoy.
