About The Game

Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory is an action-adventure stealth video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It is the third installment in the Splinter Cell series of video games and is a sequel to Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow. The game follows protagonist Sam Fisher, a field operative working for a black-ops branch of the National Security Agency called Third Echelon, as he attempts to stop a global conspiracy that threatens to start a war between China and Japan. The game features improved graphics and physics compared to its predecessors, as well as new gameplay elements such as the ability to use environmental objects for cover and the ability to climb pipes and ledges. Players can also use weapons such as assault rifles, shotguns, pistols, grenades, mines, sticky cameras, and crossbows. The game also features an improved artificial intelligence system that allows enemies to react more realistically to player actions. The story of Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory follows Sam Fisher as he attempts to stop John Browning, a former NSA agent who has gone rogue and is attempting to start a war between China and Japan by using cyberterrorism. Along the way he must battle mercenaries hired by Browning as well as his own agency who are trying to stop him from uncovering the truth behind Browning’s plans.
