About The Game

Tourist Trophy is a racing game developed by Polyphony Digital and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 2. It was released in 2006 and is the first motorcycle racing game to be released for the PlayStation 2. The game features over 100 different motorcycles from various manufacturers, including Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Ducati, Aprilia, and Suzuki. Players can race on a variety of tracks around the world, including real-world locations such as Laguna Seca Raceway in California and Suzuka Circuit in Japan. The game features a variety of modes, including Time Attack, Single Race, Championship Mode and two-player split screen. In Time Attack mode players can race against the clock to set their best lap time on any track. In Single Race mode players can race against AI opponents or against another player in split screen mode. Championship Mode allows players to compete in a series of races with points awarded for each race based on their finishing position. The player with the most points at the end of all races wins the championship. Players can also customize their bikes with parts from various manufacturers as well as customize their rider’s appearance with different helmets and suits. Players can also adjust various settings such as suspension stiffness and tire pressure to give them an edge over their opponents. Tourist Trophy also features realistic physics that take into account weight distribution and rider input when cornering or braking which adds to the realism of the game. Overall Tourist Trophy is an excellent racing game that offers realistic physics and a wide variety of tracks and motorcycles to choose from.
